End dictator oil

The Trudeau Liberal’s plan replaces paycheques for our people with dollars for dictators.

Their anti-pipeline legislation and ideological agenda have resulted in making it next to impossible to get energy projects and pipelines built in Canada.  It is absurd that we import 130,000 barrels of overseas oil, from dictators and countries with lower environmental standards, even though we have the third largest supply right here in Canada.

Justin Trudeau would rather allow countries like Iran, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia to meet global energy demand and, in doing so, boost regimes that abuse human rights and take virtually no steps to protect the environment.  And he would rather the United States fill the void in the North American market, ceding investment and jobs that should be ours to our neighbour to the south..

The world is worse off when dangerous regimes can ramp up their economies because Canada has vacated the market.  Canada is deprived when it allows its competitors to take the field uncontested.  The fact is Canada has more than enough oil – not only to displace imports from rogue states – but to put an end to all foreign imports once and for all.

Canada has the energy the world wants and needs.  Canadian energy workers need a government that will champion their jobs, pipeline projects, and get our world class products to market.

We can’t afford to pretend the world doesn’t need oil and gas anymore.  Branden believes we need to get pipelines and energy projects built by implementing clear timelines for regulatory approvals.  He will fight to repeal anti-pipeline legislation and end foreign dictator oil imports once and for all.
